Discover how to draw a human skeleton - Watch Free Anatomy Master Class video lessons - https://anatomymasterclass.com/free
In this video, you will see how Vladimir London, a tutor at Anatomy Master Class sketches a standing body skeleton in pen and ink. Anatomy for artists is needed for drawing realistic figures and portraits from life, memory and imagination. Learning anatomy can be daunting, but as an artist, you do not need to know Latin names of bones and muscles, but you need to know a human body proportions and construction. For example, in this video, you will see that the upper body can be divided into three parts - from the top of the head to the shoulder joints, then from this level to the lower edge of the ribcage and from that mark to the pubic bone. Also, the pubic bone is usually divides a standing figure's hight in half. Another very helpful proportion of a standing in contrapposto figure is three parts - one from the toe to the top of the kneecap, then from the kneecap to the top of the pelvis and from the pubic bone to the pit of the neck. If you know and use only these proportions, you will be already more advanced in your knowledge than the majority of art college graduates. Imagine how much more you will learn in the Anatomy Master Class, which comes with 26 video lessons on various topics of anatomy, proportions and construction.
