I modified a Suncast Horizontal Shed to house my Champion portable generator. Most of the parts are off-the-shelf from home improvement stores. The unit will be situated about 25' from my house and will be connected when necessary by a 10/3 flexible cord. The cord will connect to my generator on one end, the other end will connect to an outlet that will lead to a 30 amp breaker in my electric panel. A lockout switch prevents any unsafe situations.
