In 2009 Kiko was diagnosed with Cushings Disease where she underwent brain surgery twice. Upon getting through surgery, she decided to quit her day job as a science teacher and begin looking for a life of adventure. She has now set the world record for the fastest female solo crossing of the Atlantic Ocean. She joins LHR to discuss her journey with us.
