Unimog 1300L

This video is a Restored 1982 Mercedes Benz Unimog 1300L. The video is restored from beginning to the end, and videos throughout of it running.
My dad bought this Unimog, on eBay on 26th March 2017 from Doncaster. We got told it was used in the Military to tow a bomb trailer.
south-cave tractors east Yorkshire came in handy with sourcing a few things and of course the internet.

What’s been done to it:
• New stainless-steel battery box
• New stainless-steel exhaust
• Built new tow bar
• Injector pipe seals replaced
• Mud guard brackets for rear made
• Cab & floor been welded
• New floor on truck body
• Sign writing
• Powder coated Steel roof bar with lights
• Hadley Air horns fitted
• Re-built front inner arches
• Winch added to front bumper
• Cab been filled & sanded
• New shock absorbers
• Custom sun-visor made
• New Back mud guards
• New windscreen + window rubbers
• Custom made stainless-steel exhaust cover
• Tool box made to measure on drivers side (left)
• We made badges made on cnc + power coated
• Steel bumper guide’s that have been power coated
• Pickup hitch on the back been fitted
• Windows tinted + logo on


Paint
• Body (Graphite grey - 2 pack paint)
• Cab (graphite grey - base coat + lacquer)
• Wheel painted in graphite grey
• Chassis/front mud guards painted in U-POL Raptor black


Powder Coating
(East Coast Powder Coating, Hull East Yorkshire)
• Mud guide brackets
• Air filter housing
• Window runners in doors
• Wiper arms
• Air cleaner mushroom
• Front bumper
• Steps
• Mirror arms
• Steel roof bar
• Radiator cowling
• Polished & waxed with auto finesse

I have tried to put everything in order but unfortunately might not be perfect because we did stuff to the Unimog at different times.
