This is the second time taking my 5 year old snorkelling, this time in the lovey Kimmeridge Bay. Entering from the slip on the eastern side of the bay, and swimming west to the other side.

Such a great spot with a huge diversity of seaweeds and sea life. I had a very excited little lady as she explored this new world.

Great on any tide, just watch the weather, not advisable in adverse weather. A swell would cause you issues as you closed in near ledges.

There’s a toll road as you approach, Β£5 per car and more if you’re planning on launching kayak/boat. Plenty of parking, nice to get there early and get a spot at the front looking out over the bay, perfect spot to have a brew and picnic.

Unfortunately the Wildlife Centre was closed, and they’d not yet put out marker buoys for the Snorkel Trail, they normally sell maps for this and you can also hire snorkel kit from here. Lovely little info centre.

Took a mesh bag out with the intent to litter pick, but surprisingly and happily not needed πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
