Welcome to East Coast Sailing! Embark on my most exhilarating sailing adventure yet: a daring 600 NM journey to the Channel Islands and back. I've captured every breath-taking moment and will release a series of gripping videos over the coming weeks, showcasing this epic voyage.

With just two weeks to conquer the open seas, I braved fierce winds and towering waves before reuniting with my family for a more serene week sailing around the Isle of Wight, exploring Lymington, Gosport, Portsmouth, Ryde and East Cowes. In these videos, I'll reveal the highs and lows, the costs, the stark realities, and the invaluable advice on the best marinas and navigation tips for anyone daring enough to attempt a similar journey.

From Tollesbury, i visited the port of Dover, Eastbourne, and Lymington before finally setting sail for the Channel Islands, making landfall on Alderney. Before the crossing, I faced a catastrophic mechanical failure that nearly stranded me during the only good weather window. On Alderney, fate introduced me to another sailing channel, @OutsideYourZone, whose camaraderie transformed my adventure. We caught crabs and fresh fish, cooked them on the beach, indulged in far too much rum, and uncovered every hidden gem of the island. The warmth and hospitality of the locals added to the enchantment. I went on to visit Guernsey and Saint peters port, sailing past Herm and landing on the remote island of Sark.

This journey tested my limits, pushing me to the brink with relentless sleep deprivation and the harshest seas I've ever encountered. This is a tale of endurance, perseverance, adventure, and the relentless pursuit of dreams on the open sea.
