The Scruffs are foul little beasts, who litter and pollute their town of Scruffyness, which is built on the banks of the stinking River Skug. Their selfish ways put them at odds with nature. In particular, the Great Grandrasil Tree and a Spriggan, who dwell in the woods above the town. The foes increasingly scheme and spar back and forth, until a final act of cleansing will wash away all rivalries.
