The Kitazawa Hachiman Autumn Festival, an annual festival at Kitazawa Hachiman Shrine, a 12-minute walk from Shimokitazawa Station and an 8-minute walk from Ikenoue Station, will be held from September 2 (Sat.) to 3 (Sun.).
This year is the first time in four years that the festival will be held on a regular scale, as it is the auspicious year of 2023 and the 555th anniversary of the Hachiman shrine's establishment.
The portable shrines will enter the shrine from 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3. More than two dozen mikoshi will start from Daizawa 3-junction at the same time.
