A traditional British song dating back to at least the 1700's. It has had many lyrical versions added over the years. An internet collaboration with Ginny Aitchison (Celtic Mandolins) and John Kelly from Argyll, Scotland and featuring Bethany Aitchison on flute. These pictures are from re-enactments of the Napoleonic Wars. Some may remember the BBC series called 'Sharpe' focusing on this time period.
