This could be the most interesting chapter yet! In episode 13 of Building a Monster Truck Engine, Gale is puzzled by the relationship between the supercharger and turbos. As he backs down the supercharger's contribution by changing the pulley size, he watches the engine's horsepower increase. It would be easy to assume the turbos are making up for the supercharger, but therein lies the quandary. The turbos' contribution have remained constant through every test. So, why in the world is the engine making more power as the supercharger's contribution is decreased? Gale isn't about to let this riddle get the best of him.
