“After the Storm” was captured over Los Angeles in 8K resolution in March 2018. These scenes were captured over the course of 90 minutes from the Malibu hills, looking east over Los Angeles. An overnight storm passed through the city and lingered to the east, creating this unique scene.
This is the second in a series of 8K videos that explore the longer view. Most timelapses are, by definition, very fast. By slowing things down, we can fully observe a change occurring - day becoming night, a storm passing overhead, the myriad movements of a city.
