يا إمامَ الرُّسْلِ يا سنَدي * وحبيبَ الواحد الأحَدِ
إنَّ جُرحي زادَ في كبِدي * جُد على الولهانِ بالمدَدِ
بالله خُذ لي بيدي.. عطفًا عليَّ يا سيِّدي

أنتَ حِبُّ الرُّوحِ يا هادي * لكَ مِنّي خيرُ إنشادي
وأنا للقائِكُم صادي * مثلَ جُودِ نَداكَ لم أجِدِ

ما رأَت عينٌ وليسَ ترَى * مثلَ طهَ في الورَى بشَرَا
مَن إلى الأقصَى مشَى وسرَى * يقظةً بالرُّوحِ والجسَدِ

يا ابنَ عبدِ اللهِ يا أملي * وملاذَ الخائفِ الوَجِلِ
نظرةٌ فالعُمرُ في عجَلِ * وبغوثٍ حُلَّ لي عُقَدي

يا حبيبَ اللهِ أنتَ لنا * رحمةٌ واللهِ ثُمَّ سَنَا
وأمانًا يمنعُ الحَزَنا * للهُدَى تدعو وللرَّشَدِ

O Master of all Messengers, I rely upon you – You’re the one who is the beloved of Allāh, the One

My inner pains are increasing – Provide your lovers with aid

For the sake of Allāh, support me – I seek your mercy, my Master

You are the love of my soul, O guide – To you, I offer sincere praise

I long for meeting you – the likes of your generosity, I have not seen

No eye has seen, nor shall it see – Like the light of Ṭāhā, amongst humans

He who journeyed throughout the night to al-Aqsā – In wakefulness, in body and soul

O son of ʿAbdullāh, my love – You are the resort of those who live in fear

Time is passing by, so we seek your glance of mercy – With your support resolve my predicaments

You are the beloved of Allāh– A mercy and illumination for us

You provide protection from sadness – You call to guidance and righteousness
