The Little Miami is a 78 mile trail and is the longest single trail in the Miami Valley network. It provides treelined paths with unique sights along the route. We traveled from Cincinnati to Loveland. It was the spring rainy season, so there was isolated flooding on the trail at the southern tip. The flooding cleared out as we traveled farther north. A bridge reconstruction stops the trail in Loveland and the new bridge is slated to be opened in July, 2024. The trail is completely paved, well maintained, and multi-use. Facilities are throughout the trail, and trailheads have ample parking, especially at Lunken Airport. Going through five different counties, you will find four connecting trails and eleven different cities and towns.
