Fishing at Blea Tarn | The English Lake District.

We had planned to try to head up to Styhead Tarn as it owed us some fish after the previous failed attempt:    • Wildcamping Fail at Styhead Tarn, The...   but as the cloud didn't look to promising we decided to head out for a days fishing at Blea Tarn instead.

Parking at Dobgill car park ( https://www.visitlakedistrict.com/exp... ) which is literally on the bank of Thirlmere we headed up through a beautiful forest and stopped off at Harrops Tarn.

Blea Tarn is marked on the OS map as having a head of fish but these where being very elusive but at least we didnt blank!
