♒️There are specific settings for zigzag stitching that your machine has to have in order to be able to sew connecting (“straight “) seams on knit and stretchy fabrics.

🪡 FIRST, you will need manually set up different WIDTH of zigzag for different thickness/ weight of fabric.
So preset zigzag options unfortunately will NOT work.🥲

🪡 SECOND, you will need manually set different stitch length on zigzag setting for different types of knit fabrics.
So preset zigzag options will NOT work for that as well.🥲
