Some of the best known artists in this particular area of hip-hop are XXXTentacion, Lil Peep, Juice Wrld, Trippie Redd, 6lack, Lil Tjay, Polo G, Rod Wave, Phora, Toosii and many more. Influenced by them, when looking for beats, artists usually choose sad beats or emotional beats for their songs.

In these beats you can never miss a sad piano or guitar loop, a pad to help create that emotional atmosphere and, sometimes, sad vocals.
