Thinking of getting a fancy Euro but find the usual BMW, Mercedes Benz, and Audi to be a little bit too common? Well, you're forgetting another competitor to those, the Maserati Ghibli.

Although lesser known, but definitely more hyped to those who know, the Maserati Ghibli is a direct competitor to the likes of the BMW 6 Series, the Mercedes Benz CLS, and the Audi A7 sporting similar coupe-like frameless windows, but still retaining 4 doors. You can get the Ghibli as the base model Ghibli with 330PS, Ghibli S with 410PS, Ghibli S Q4 with 430PS and all wheel drive, or the range topping Ghibli Trofeo with an astounding supercar territory 580PS. For more conservative buyers who've thrown reason out the window though, there's also the option for a Ghibli Diesel.

Being an Italian car, it delivers a superb driving experience, pleasing exhaust notes, and a "Ferrari-assembled" engine which sure makes for both an enticing drive, and conversational bragging rights.

This review is on the base model Ghibli S with it's 3.0L V6 engine making 330PS, and 500Nm torque.
