This East London Walk takes us in search of a mystery within the landscape of Valentines Park Ilford. There's said to be a holy well in Valentines Park, named Jacob's Well that dates back at least to the late medieval period and possibly further back than that. We also stumble upon two curious stones that could possibly be related to a Roman casket that was excavated in the grounds of Valentines House in the 19th century and mentioned in Village London.
