Spiro Drake is one of the greatest people in recent history and to see his park in this state weighs very heavily on me. Seeing his dream being discarded and destroyed this way, after he spent his life as unselfishly as a person can, breaks my heart. There’s a lot written about him online, his entire history, but precious little video exists of Greek’s Playland except for what’s here on this channel. If everyone can forgive my bumbling commentary I hope these videos capture at least a little bit of The Greek’s magic so that his work can continue to be to enjoyed and admired for years to come.
