Short answer: No, they make great pets, but the market is saturated.
I hope this video helped you understand this topic a little bit more. Some people are scared that they might get a crested gecko and if they find themselves having to rehome it they won't be able to find a home for them. However, I believe that lots of people will gladly take in a crested gecko, and their ease of care will make everyone want one of these guys. And it is justified, they deserve all the praise and love they get.
However, breeding them isn't for everyone, and should be done responsibly. Knowing the morphs, the things that could go wrong, and where the babies will go once their ready to be rehomed. And this last part is the most important. There are thousands of crested geckos on morph market looking for a new home, meaning, that the market is pretty full already.
Thank you, and I'll see you in the next video.
Bye :)
