This is a test burn on two color painted mdf. I first sealed the MDF with a sanding sealer. Then one coat of white followed by two coats of orange and finally two coats of black. The engraving is done with a Ortur Laser Master 3.

Engrave settings:
Speed - 7000 mm/m
Power - 15% max
Dither - dither
