The recommended vaccination schedule for meat ducks is as follows:
- 1 day old: Duck and platypus hepatitis vaccine
- 1-3 days old: Antibodies/E.coli vaccine (umbilical cord disease, diarrhea)
- 7 days old: Tembusu vaccine (Tembusu virus birth & reversal syndrome)
- 10 days old: Duck cholera vaccine (dose 1)
- 12 days old: Avian influenza vaccination (1st dose)
- 13-15 days old: Vaccination against E. coli and duck typhoid
- 21-23 days old: Vaccination against E. coli, typhoid, septicemia
- 35 days old: Vaccination against Tembusu (wasting syndrome) (2nd dose)
- 38-40 days old: Vaccination against duck cholera (2nd dose)
- 45 days old: Vaccination against avian influenza (2nd dose)

- 50 days old: Vaccination against duck hepatitis (before ducks hatch)
- 180 days old: Vaccination against duck cholera + Tembusu (premature birth syndrome),
- 190 days old: Vaccination against avian influenza 3rd time
For ducks and geese, booster shots should be given after 6 months & before breeding and hatching.
