Hey folks, back with another VGM cover and first one for the new year. I thought for my newest video I would cover the Brinstar theme from the first Metroid game. I’ve never covered a song from the Metroid franchise so this is a first. I picked Brinstar as it’s a simple 8-bit tune to play around with and put together a metal rendition of.

To make the cover interesting I thought I would include the Title screen and Game Start theme and arrange them as the middle section of this cover. Overall I think the cover sounds epic and am very pleased with the result. I didn’t bother writing a guitar solo like I do with my other covers as I don't think it really needs it. The lead guitars that are in this cover should be enough.
