This is one of the finest recordings ever made of the Bach Chaconne IMHO. Aaron Rosand played this magnificent work at the Bel Eden mansion in the early 1980s.

I am surprised this beautiful recital by Aaron Rosand and John Covelli at Bel Eden has not been re-issued in DVD format. Given current editing techniques and using master tapes, the picture and sound should be better than my final restoration of the out-of-print VHS tape. I would urge, who ever holds the copyright to this video, to re-issue "An Evening at Bel Eden" in DVD format soon.
