World record Half-Life speedrun done by Blake "Spider-Waffle" Piepho on Half-Life v1.1.0.6 (1.06), no mod. I worked on this video during 2003-2006. It is a segmented speedrun done on "difficult" or "hard" setting (highest of 3 settings). This run does not make use of the infinite health door glitch which was discovered while the run was in progress. I thought the glitch was rather extreme and would take away the beauty of all the exact health and armor planning.

The bhop script used for this run was quite simply one which spams jump 5 times, half of the jumps will spend a frame on the ground with this script, so it is not nearly as fast as other methods with the "special" command released in later versions of HL.

The exact script:
alias bhop "+jump;wait;-jump;wait;+jump;wait;-jump;wait;+jump;wait;-jump;wait;+jump;wait;-jump;wait;+jump;wait;-jump"

And, a good Gauss/Tau boost script (slightly better than what I used in this run):

alias gauss "cl_pitchup 180;cl_pitchdown -180;-attack2;wait;cl_pitchup -12;cl_pitchdown 89.99999;wait;cl_pitchup 89.99999"

I've made many new time savings discoveries since this was completed in 2006. The great runner Quadrazid has also found time savers as we've been collaborating for over two years now. It will be ~20:40.
