Transcript:
Hi my name is Maryse Bertrand BCL 1980. And I'm Bill brock, I'm BCom 1977, BCL 1978, LLB 1980.
Maryse: I'll let you now: we did not meet at the McGill Law Faculty. As a matter of fact, we met in 1980, uh, during my first summer as a intern at Davies.
Bill: yeah, at which time I was a big shot first-year lawyer...
Maryse: So we did not meet at the McGill Faculty, but a fellow student at the McGill Faculty warned me to stay away from Bill, and described his personality in less than flattering terms.
Bill: and I, um, make no admission as to whether that statement was right or wrong.
Maryse: needless to say, I did not heed that advice and 41 years, two children, and several dogs later, we are still happily married. Bill: and the moral of the story is don't believe what you hear about me. Good luck to you.
