I wrote 'Easy to Get Close To' soon after watching the Film 'Leaving Las Vegas', with Nicholas Cage. (Long time ago). I realized it wasn't the first time I liked a film with addicts and street walkers as the characters and story line. (If written sympathetically). What did I like about these characters? Well, maybe its because they have their walls down . . So, this song came from that consideration and I've been told by some that it was challenging for them to listen to.

( I had a rather scratchy throat due to a bad cold while recording .. too.) Sometimes spirit moves us anyhow.
