Ingredients for Chicken Fry Recipe:

(Tsp-Teaspoon; Tbsp-Tablespoon)

- Boneless chicken pieces - 450 gms or 1 lb

Tempering:
- Dry Red Chillies - 3-4 nos.

Spice Powders
- Turmeric Powder- 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder- 1.5 tsp
- Coriander powder- 1 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder- 1/2 tsp

Other ingredients :
- Onions - 2 medium (150 gms.)
- Curry leaves- 15-20
- Ginger Garlic paste-2 tsp
- Coriander leaves, chopped- 4 tbsp
- Salt- 1 tsp
- Refined Oil- 3-4 tbsp

Preparation:

- Cut the chicken fillets into bite sized pieces and set aside
- Cut the red chillies into small pieces
- Chop the coriander leaves and set aside for use as garnish

Process:

- Take a frying pan and heat oil.
- Add the cut red chillies give a mix and add the chopped onions.
- Fry on medium heat for around 6 mins.
- Add the ginger garlic paste, mix and fry on low heat for 2 mins.
- Now add the chicken pieces, the turmeric & salt and mix well and fry it on medium heat for 3-4 mins.
- Now add the other spice powders, mix and fry it on medium heat for another 2 mins till the pieces are browned.
- Now add a splash of water & give a mix.
- Cover & cook on low heat for 7-8 mins.
- Remove the lid, give a mix and cover & cook on low heat for another 7 mins. You can add a splash of water again before closing the lid.
- Now add the curry leaves & chopped coriander leaves, give a mix and keep frying on medium heat for 2 mins to coat the chicken well.
