In this video, I talked about the 4 best skills for 2024 that all corporate employees and students can learn. These in demand skills for 2024 can determine how your 2024 goes and how much you achieve in the upcoming year. I have covered what challenges you might face in this upskilling journey and why it is extremely important for you to upskill. The first best skill for 2024 is Artificial Intelligence or AI. It is one of the most important new skills for 2024. You are going to benefit a lot from learning more about Artificial Intelligence. And it is not going to impact our careers in the next decade or so but more likely in the next year itself.

You need to understand the impact of AI. I had uploaded a small video of mine of HeyGen and it created an avatar of me that looks very similar to me and now I can put some text into it and create a whole video. Content creation is something that used to require a lot of personal touch but today it is getting automated. A lot of other jobs that are also repetitive are going to be automated very soon. AI will indeed create new jobs but those jobs are going to be for the people who are trained on these AI systems. If you don’t learn more about AI then you will not be one of those who get these jobs.

AI is still unable to replace people who can make strategically sound decisions. Not only decisions based on data but also where data cannot give you clear-cut answers. This is why problem-solving is the next skill that you need to figure out. Human emotions and problem solving skills is needed. You can go and solve many business cases and it will lead to a lot of good things coming your way. If you are interested in problem solving then do go and check out the courses that I have created. The next skill is content creation. I believe that it is extremely important to maintain your personal brand. You may not make a lot of money from content creation right away. There is a lot of competition. But if your content reaches out to the right people then you may not even have to sit for an interview to get your next job. Maintaining your personal brand or helping others do the same can help you greatly.

The last among the best skills for 2024 is building your expertise in one domain. This is not a new skill for 2024 but an evergreen formula in the corporate world which you must develop expertise. You get the conviction or develop your expertise by doing a live project or working with someone in the same domain for a long time or reading a lot about it. How you build that expertise doesn’t matter as long as you can do it. To stand out in the corporate world your thoughts need to be different. And you can develop that different thought process by focusing on building your expertise.
