On this trip, I had just returned from a family dive trip to Roatan and when I returned, the weather had been dead calm for a few days. Day one, I took an afternoon trip to the rigs in front of the Mayan Princess near Port Aransas. Ended up catching bait and little else. This day, I went to my old stomping grounds in the Nueces where I was met with low tide and slick calm conditions. The bait of choice on this trip was a chicken boy bubba clucker. The trip rapidly turned south and so did the fishing. I explored white point a little more, but only caught the one fish in the river shortly after sunrise.

Birds in this video include white ibis, roseatte spoonbill, and snowy egret
