Coming back to Japan after my cancelled 2023 birthday trip was emotional -- I knew six days would not be enough. I have several places I wanted to go, but for the most part, I just let things happen. I just ate where my feet would take me, and somehow, 90% of my cravings were satisfied.

Tokyo did not disappoint, it was still vibrant, relevant, and "chaotic". I had to relearn their customs and etiquette -- those are some of the things that make this country so special.

The novelty has not worn off and probably never will. I can't wait to come back.
