After a fun morning of catching black belly rose fish and tilefish we headed to the reef in search for snapper 🐠 Since we were fishing out of Hillsboro Inlet we didn’t have high expectations as Pompano is a primarily pelagic fishery. To our surprise, Emily hooked into a keeper mutton snapper within 10 minutes of fishing! 😁 Maybe it was a fluke?! Then Amanda hooked into a keeper yellowtail and the bite continued to stay hot! ☀️
