On the afternoon of the 19th (Thursday), rain clouds developed rapidly along the mountains in the western Kanto region, and reports of "hail" were received one after another from Hachioji City, Tokyo.

This video was taken on the grounds of a vocational school in Hachioji, Tokyo, at around 3:30 p.m. on the 19th. Large chunks of hail are seen falling as if blown by the wind and hitting the ground with a loud crackling sound.
