This is a Seth Thomas 8-day OG shelf clock. The case is labeled "Thomaston" but the movement is labeled "Plymouth". Thus, the clock was made around the time the town name was changed from Plymouth Hollow to Thomaston (1865). The movement is lyre-shaped, is weight driven, and has a strip recoil escapement.
