SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT et les autorités algériennes ont commencé à travailler ensemble en 2006. Jean-Marc Jahn revient sur les grands défis à relever et les résultats atteints concernant l'accès à l'eau et à l'assainissement des populations. Par exemple, en 2006, moins de 10% des habitants d'Alger avait un accès continu à l'eau. Ce chiffre atteint à présent les 100% et le niveau de vie des habitants s'est considérablement amélioré.
Il évoque enfin les raisons pour lesquelles ce Partenariat Public Privé est un succès.



Jean-Marc Jahn is CEO of SEAAL (Société des Eaux et de l'Assainissement d'Alger). During this interview, he first introduces the company SEAAL which manages water supply and treatment for the province of Algiers.
SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT and the Algiers authorities started working together on this project on 2006. Jean-Marc Jahn mentions the major challenges to face and the outcome of the project to provide drinking water and sanitation to the entire population. For instance, in 2006, under 10% of the population of Algiers had a 24-hour supply of drinking water. Today 100% of the population does and there is a palpable improvement in the living standards of the province's inhabitants.
