Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) cultural park is one of the most iconic place in Bali. GWK statue is the biggest statue in Indonesia and the 4th tallest monumental statue in the world.

According to the information we got from GWK, 5 years is the process of building the statue after Alam Sutera took over, starting from groundbreaking in 2013 to completion in 2018. But for the process from the initial idea until the statue is completed, the process took 28 years.
