In this video we visit Manchester's Grandest building the Refuge Assurance building. It has a secret and hidden history. Now a Hotel it was built for the Refuge Assurance company in 1891 designed by the Architect Alfred Waterhouse. This really is a grand and Baroque building full of hidden secrets and history. We learn about the ghost that haunts the building and see all the original features of this art deco building. The stunning architecture is breathtaking during this tour of Manchester' Principle hotel it was also called the Palace hotel. Behind the hotel we can see the river Medlock on this guided Manchester tour. The River Medlock of course where I have waded and done lots of Urban exploring urbex.
