Follows the inner transformation of a man who tried to fight his demon, the love for money, and lost.

PLOT SUMMARY: Psychological drama, based on the novella “Moara cu noroc” by Ioan Slavici. The action takes place in the 1870s at an isolated inn near Arad. Greedy for money, the innkeeper Ghiță associates himself with Sămădău in criminal activities, but ends up destroying his life and his family.

Ghiță and Ana arrive at the inn called “Moara cu noroc.” Here, the two of them, along with their children, aim to build a better life free from worries.
