The world’s longest timber-towered suspension bridge just opened up at Boyne Mountain in Michigan. Enjoy this video with the fall colors at their peak.

FACTS:
- SkyBridge Michigan pays homage to the logging history of Northern Michigan. Matelski Lumber in nearby Boyne Falls, to the east, sourced the wood for the towers and bridge.
- At its highest point, the bridge is 118 feet from the valley floor.
- The height of each tower is 52 feet.
- The foundations contain more than a million pounds of concrete.
- Each tower weighs close to 40,000 pounds (nearly the same as a fire truck).
- 3,250 bolts are used in each tower
- The main 3-inch cable weighs 22,000 pounds.
- SkyBridge Michigan was designed and built in six months by Experiential Resources Inc., the company that completed the Gatlinburg SkyBridge.
- The "M" in the Pure Michigan logo served as a source of inspiration for the tower arch design.
