Today we visit my buddy Rileys Farm as he harvests his soft red winter wheat crop. Riley is a 29 year old fourth generation farmer here in NC. A wet winter/spring laid a hurting on the yields, but as farmers we still have to push on through bad weather, bad yields, and breakdowns. Riley is running a Case IH 8250 combine, which is a beast in comparison to our John Deere 6620.
