A fashion editorial for V magazine. An good example of abstract editing and non-objective image combination. Editing like this is VERY different from the typical work I do in films or TV, and is a big creative change from more traditionally linear conceptions. In addition to narrative projects, it's very beneficial to be able to put yourself in a different space and successfully cut projects where you are not so much juxtaposing images to tell a story, but are instead creating a succession of moments that increasingly evoke a certain style or feeling. Hm. I guess that sounds really fruity and lame, but maybe you know what I'm driving at here. At the very least, the model, Missy Rayer, looks gorgeous here as always.
