My dream of making sailing my way of life is coming true! Between August 1 and December 4, I logged 18 sails on the San Francisco Bay -- sailing with new friends, shipping traffic, eerie fog, becalmed waters, crazy winds, and breathtakingly beautiful sunsets. Widely varied conditions make the San Francisco Bay the perfect place for a budding skipper to grow and hone sailing skills. Although the landscape is always the same, every sail is uniquely challenging and inspiringly beautiful.

LESSONS LEARNED

- That annoying blue dot! I guess this just comes with direct light camera angles when filming with an iPhone 7.
- I've been told that my voice sounds different in the video than in person. I'm using standard Apple headphones/mic. I'm not yet financially in a position to purchase decent audio recording equipment. I'm making do with what I have for now.
