If your Samsung Galaxy M04 is stuck on the logo, it typically indicates a boot loop or a software issue. Here are several steps you can take to try to fix this problem:
1. *Force Restart the Device*
- Press and hold the Power button and Volume Down button simultaneously for about 10-15 seconds. This forces the device to restart.
2. *Boot into Safe Mode*
- Turn off the device completely.
- Press and hold the Power button until the Samsung logo appears.
- When the Samsung logo appears, release the Power button and immediately press and hold the Volume Down button.
- Continue to hold the Volume Down button until the device finishes restarting.
- If it boots into Safe Mode (you’ll see "Safe Mode" in the corner of the screen), a third-party app might be causing the issue. You can uninstall recently installed apps to identify the culprit.
3. *Wipe Cache Partition*
- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button simultaneously.
- When the Samsung logo appears, release all buttons.
- Use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Wipe Cache Partition" and use the Power button to select it.
- Confirm by selecting "Yes" and wait for the process to complete.
- Once done, select "Reboot system now."
4. *Factory Reset*
Note: This will erase all data on your device. Ensure you have backups if possible.
- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button simultaneously.
- When the Samsung logo appears, release all buttons.
- Use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" and use the Power button to select it.
- Confirm by selecting "Yes" and wait for the process to complete.
- Once done, select "Reboot system now."
5. *Reinstall Firmware via Odin (Advanced)*
This step is more advanced and requires a computer and the Odin tool.
- Download the correct firmware for your device model from a trusted source.
- Install the Odin tool on your computer.
- Boot your device into Download Mode (turn off the device, then press and hold Volume Down + Power button until you see a warning screen, then press Volume Up).
- Connect your device to your computer via USB.
- Open Odin and load the firmware files into the appropriate slots (BL, AP, CP, CSC).
- Click "Start" in Odin to flash the firmware.
- Wait for the process to complete and your device to reboot.
If none of these methods work, you may need to visit an authorized Samsung service center for further assistance.
