House of the Dragon season 2 episode 1 is out! It's a great episode but it also includes an adaptation of the infamous blood and cheese section from the book. Many viewers seemed to find it underwhelming. This analysis is both a review of the episode and a defence for the blood and cheese scene. Whilst it's debatable which is actually better, the TV version is still a great scene and deserves to be judged on its own merit.
