Our main intention is to catch the gorgeous appearance of Mount Siguniang within the Changping valley and Shuangqiao valley. These are two of the valleys within the Siguniang National Park.

We visited during the non-peak season and avoided the crowded period, and almost had the place all to ourselves. But we compromised on other areas, like the risk of gloomy weather like what we experienced. We were not able to catch the view of Mount Siguniang. And so, one of our wise friends said “Life is like that, you win some, you lose some”

The weather was great the next morning, and upon departure from the hotel, our driver drove us to a nearby viewing platform with the hope that we could have a glimpse of Siguniang, to make up for the disappointment. We were delighted to see a clear view of Siguniang mountains range from a viewing platform.
