This was the beginning of a disastrous weekend. I qualified really well in 3rd place just a tenth off the pole position. I was caught off guard by how fast the starting procedure happened and my reaction to the flag dropping was really slow, making me lose a couple of places. In an effort to make up lose ground fueled by frustration I did a very aggressive swift into 3rd gear, accidentally knocking the ignition switch with my knuckle and turning the car off. From there on, it was a matter of making it through the field since I have pretty decent pace, eventually ending 4th. With more aggression I could have made it to the podium.
