hey, sis. What if those "comforts" that we run to when we're stressed, overwhelmed, and need a break are actually not bringing us the comfort we think they are? The relationship, the sweet treat, the shopping, the new bag, the smoking -- we are turning to these things (and others) for the comfort that only God can give us. So in today's video, we look to the Bible to help us understand 1) where counterfeit comforts originated, 2) I share my testimony of the counterfeit comforts God has freed me from and two that I am still working through and lastly, 3) i share practically how we wake up to the truth about these counterfeits and find the Godly comfort we're truly searching for in the Lord. i hope you enjoy!! love you.
