So, I didn’t exactly picture myself sitting here writing about the reasons why I am backing out of my move to Berlin lol. I guess you really can’t predict how your life might turn out.🙃

Moving to Berlin was a commitment I have been trying to make for the longest time. It took me about a year to prepare for this move. I had high hopes for my life in Berlin, and it kind of sucks that I won't be able to make that into my reality - at least for now.

I mentioned in the video that I decided to move back home mainly because I realized that I don’t want to be away from my family anymore, which is true. But, I also realized that I am a lot more stable, mentally, when I’m with my family. However, the bigger issue was that I didn’t feel like I had a purpose in Berlin. I felt like my dream or goal of being in Berlin wasn’t clear enough for me to keep burning through my savings. These weren’t things that I haven’t considered before my move, but when I walked into that apartment in Berlin, reality hit me hard.

I still do believe that under the right circumstances (regarding finances and my purpose in life), I see myself living in Berlin because the week I spent there was nothing but amazing. I know that living in a country is very different from visiting it, but I actually could see myself living there at the end of the trip (if I had a job opportunity in Berlin).

What I’m trying to say is…
It might not have been the right timing for me this time, but I believe that if it’s meant for me, other opportunities will rise in one way or another for me to live in a different country.
I hope I made sense, and I want you guys to understand that my thoughts are continuously changing lol, so don't be surprised when I different decisions in the future!
