In the year 2157, astronaut Max makes an emergency landing on an uncharted planet, where he is captured by the native Zef and handed over to the authorities. The local social structure resembles a militaristic dictatorship from the 20th century. The power is held by faceless rulers known as the Unknown Fathers, who construct towers throughout the land, which propaganda refers to as anti-ballistic.
