Seven-time Wimbledon Champion, Serbia's Novak Djokovic said he knew that it was a risk coming back to play at The Championships only three weeks after having surgery on his knee, but the draw of Wimbledon proved too much!

The No.2 seed explains that he always dreamed of playing at Wimbledon growing up and wasn't going to miss the opportunity of doing so if he was able too, even at the age of 37 and with the Olympics in Paris happening later this year!

He also shared that his knee has been responding well after hits with Italy's Jannik Sinner, USA's Frances Tiafoe and Daniil Medvedev and that the experiences of Taylor Fritz, Switzerland's Stan Wawrinka and snowboarder Lindsey Vonn who all recovered from similar injuries in similar time frames helped him make his decision.
